It's raining in London today.

In Provo. The rain is coming down outside - the people bring out their silly wire and plastic shields and are careful to poke at least three people in the eye as they walk across campus.

I am sitting in the library studying Reflexive verbs in Spanish and listening to Jim Croce on my MP3 player.

And thinking about the next few years heavily... )

future plans

Future plans are crazy, huh?

Want to move to New York City with me for the summer? I'm looking at an internship there, but it would be a lot more fun if you came with me. We could go visit Alison in Boston, and, we'd be living in New York City. I think you could find plenty to write about there.

Oh, and I say, about the honors thing, go for it.

If I can graduate in three years, you can graduate with honors.

Hooray for grad school.

New York!

That would rock.

Why does everything cool want to happen THIS summer?

where do you get those cute stick figure drawings? I know there's an artist who does them I just forgot his name.

If given the chance I would have signed up for honors too if I knew they were going to london. Allways wanted to go there.

I have been drawing those guys since elementary school, but it seems I wasn't the first person to come up with the style.

perhaps you are thinking of explodingdog.com?

I get told all the time that my comics are exactly like that.

I try to keep it different, but my artistic brain just thinks in that direction. I don't know why.

What do I think? I think you can do whatever you freakin' want.

Ok, do you want to know what I think you ought to do? Yeah, do the honors thing. I'd be so stoked for you to go to England cuz I know you want to so badly. You have another year before you need to decide on a mission, even longer than that really cuz you don't have to go at 21. You might try to find somebody in the English department who has done what you want to do and ask them about it. I'm sure you're not the first to wonder about grad school vs. mission.
