I have been getting caught up on One Piece, and would like to share my reactions to the last 28 episodes.

( And now, a one-act play I call GET ON THE DAMN BOAT. (Spoilers) )

It was all pretty awesome. Your summary was also very accurate.

Just a warning: If the anime follows the manga, you are now heading into FLASHBACK ZONE. Which in the manga lasted a pretty long time.

I really started to miss the Strawhat Crew.

Seriously, I was sitting there completely unable to appreciate anything Whitebeard was doing because I was yelling at his subordinates to move, for pete's sake.

Ack, spoilers that there will be flashbacks! And just when I'd gotten down to only one spoiler left, too...

LOL. I think I can definitively state that it is not a spoiler to say that there will be flashbacks. It's like saying: there will be fights, people will get injured, crew will power up. It's not something unexpected.

Plus, who knows what the anime will do. Could be filler or something.

::nod, nod:: You speak truth. And I usually quite like the flashbacks (even Franky's was tolerable, largely because he wore actual pants as a teen), so it's quite promising.

What the anime chose to do was a crossover special with Toriko, of all things. O_o
