oh, so that's the meaning, it does convey what the story trying to potray, yeah, in the end, whatever we learn, we always applies it to the dramas we watch and vice versa...

Applying stuff we learn to dramas helps us remember it better, I think. ^_^

...yeahhh, this is part 3. I realized that after I posted. So you didn't miss anything. If I didn't keep people hanging, they wouldn't want to come back for more. Muahaha! Mmm, I dunno, maybe. I'll have to go back and find each post...

Aw, I saw where she said that and was poking fun at them for being all cozy together. Seems like Toma does that with someone on every drama, though.

Eh. Wait... wait... what happened to part 3? Did you lock it?! Sorry, I haven't been checking ANYTHING lately. Anyway, ooh! Toma gone! Where could he have gone off to? Well, it is less angsty..At least no one's crying yet or any emotional confrontation. (Not that there could be any, considering that Toma is nowhere to be found)

I remembered searching for the editor/conceptualizer of Last friends OBB when it came out. I loved it's representation from the red ribbon which bind them together to their positions at the end of the bb (Takeru facing Ruka who's facing Masami etc.) cups breaking, keys falling, coffee overflowing... Even Ryo's black tie which signifies him as the "black sheep" of the group.

I thought it was one of the best OBB's i've seen in Japanese dramas.

No, this is part 3, lol. I accidentally mislabeled it cause I meant to post parts 3 and 4, but just decided to post part 3...plus it was 3:00 in the morning.

Agreed. The Last Friends opening theme is one of the best in years. It had such a cool concept with the red string of fate and so many powerful symbols and the shots meaning something about each character. I wish they had used it more than just a few episodes.

I don't think it does, either, but I'd say in the majority of cases. I always get the feeling of people walking away from the camera as "leaving." Not always forever. It also depends on the culture as well. Different cultures see things differently.

He was referring to what's called "classical" editing, which means the shots are done in a way that replicates human movement. Like, no fancy angles or weird cuts and if they are done, there has to be motivation. He explained it so much better. He was also talking about shots like that generally having deeper, universal meanings.
