Listening to "Point of No Return" from Phantom of the Opera while looking at Maou icons, and strangely the beginning syncs up with the plot of the show.

Did he really "murder" Hideo, though? It looked like an accident when he was remembering it, but I wonder if maybe Hideo had some bigger part to play in it. I just think it's not what it seems to be, and we'll definitely find out later. I reallllly hope Naoto doesn't die either, because yeah, Toma dying nonononono. I cried hard enough as it was for Keii-chan when I saw Lost Time Life. No telling how much I'll cry for Toma.

Ooh thank you for all those camera shots info and stuff. I am honestly clueless about any of them as long as I love the feel of a drama. LOL

There's no such thing as over flailing for Maou yaknow! It is seriously becoming one of the best dramas I have watched this year... even with all biase-ness aside :)

I love your story btw. The POV that you used makes me feel like I'm spying at another person's life. It makes you think that people's lives are really just cycles and can even look so insignificant to others

Eh, it's just basic broadcasting stuff. I could have gone on and on and mentioned the rule of thirds and how it was used (Rule of Thirds: the screen is divided up into thirds both horizontally and vertically, creating nine spaces. To make the shot more visually appealing, characters are put on one of these thirds with their eyes at an intersecting point. Depending on what shot you want like close up or medium, you use the rule of thirds to decide where to place the actor in the shot). Gah, I sound so boring.

I occasionally get burnt out on flailing, though, that's why I have to take a break for a day. I'm good, though. Waiting for episode 2 to come out! It's torture.

Thanks about the story! Because it was about beginnings, I wanted to have it full of beginnings or things that lead to beginnings. I think because humans are naturally egotistic, we tend not to think about things happening to other people unless they somehow involve us. So many little things happen, that it's kind of amazing when you think about it.

You got that right. I guess it's already human nature to only be concerned on things that involves your own self. Y'know, I love people who can write. Probably because I am also a little bit jealous since I've always had millions of ideas in my head but once I try to put it down on paper, I just go blank. That and the fact that I need to work on my grammar. lol xD

I loved your analysis of the camera angles and their meaning for every scene. I loved Maou, but maybe a part of why I liked it so much was because of the way everything was shot so beautifully, and I wouldn't have realized it had I not come across your post(4 years too late a reply, though I watched it in 2010 :D was randomly searching for Dekabeya raw or subs but couldn't find it on MF and instead stumbled here and read this awesome post!). Maou is truly one hell of an awesome drama, that ending, omg what an ending it was. Fabulous.
