    Oh, the horrors of it. High-stakes testing is upon us. I am administering it to 18 students, and it turns me into a person I don’t recognize. 6 days and 14 hours???!!! wth? give them the psats and be done with it! at least it prepares them for the real world, where everything is awful and pointless and unreasonable :P hopefully, all this changes, SOON! you know, so kids can spend more time learning and less time filling in little bubbles and making their marks dark.

that hot springs sounds awesome, though.

Unfortunately, we HAVE to do this or get shut down. NCLB and all that. It's insane. I try to put as positive a spin on it as I can. Like, it's practice for the ACT or SAT, yada yada.
