Re-reading this early it occurs to me that I dont think there is a single book (except perhaps the bible, in both its peating of western society, and in giong to church) which has influenced my moral and philosophical position. Which is a little worryings, since Starship Troopers is Heinlien writing at his most right wing.

Cute, when we look at something and think "Aww thats cute" is that to do with it's vunerability? At some level are we realy thinking "If I so wished, I could destroy that, end it's life is my whim"?

I don't really want to be accepted by society in general, and I think it would perhaps be somewhat over indulgent of me to claim such accolades as rejection for myself in any case. Or hammering or some such. Goes on for hours everday. Almost enough to wake me up sometimes.

Theres no particular reason for it, the only things that have happened of any particular importance today have been pretty negative (damn the LEA). Yet, still, I'm bouncing around, mildly hyperactive, singing along to stuff at the top of my lungs and smiling like a goon.
