Chilling. I'm assuming it was Professor Gast that she last spoke to? A very fitting end for old man Shinra, for his soul to be obliterated by his own creations. I'd had a similar idea for Hojo in my series, only it's Lucrecia who eradicates his soul. All of the Cetra feel him being erased, though, and it's a very unpleasant experience for them all. I wonder, though...if Bugenhagen's grim theory about the Planet dying were to come to fruition, would the Promised Land have been wiped out as well?
Her memory of Gast, at any rate. Being human, he's long gone. The Cetra are holding on to their little haven as long as they can but even suns, moons and planets come to an end and as the Lifestream thins, they expected to fade with it. The reactors weakened the Lifestream early though. A planet that's lived its full celestial lifespan is fine, but one that's being murdered is a tragedy.
