Nope, there are unfortunately only two movies, Continuum and The Ark of Truth. The third movie was planned and then got put on hold.

Haha, OMG I always forget about that one. It's like it doesn't exist in my head for some reason. Maybe because I had issues with Kurt Russell as Jack. :p

Behind the soft lines on her face he can still see his young Captain, touching the ‘gate’s event horizon for the first time, the absolute wonder in her eyes. - This! I've sort of accidentally started watching the first season of Stargate again, and thanks to Tumblr, the images of Sam as a young Captain and where she ended up, keep merging together. The same with Jack as well really. It was so nice to see that happening through their eyes as well.

Such an interesting premise, I do love the act of telling people about the Stargate right around election time - the chaos that would cause.

Jack shouldn't be so sure that people aren't going to be interested in him and Sam though surely? Some parts of the media are going to be more about the gossip and scandal than they will the actual Stargate surely? ;)

Really interesting fic, can't wait to see where you take it!
