I never ever post to this thing anymore, but I've been toying with the idea of starting an actual blog.

So I thought I'd try posting here dilligently for awhile and seeing if I actually do have anything to write about.

(Was anyone else inspired to get blogging after seeing Julie and Julia?

I love blogging. I have four other blogs besides this one, all with different purposes. Blogspot is by far the easiest for a straight blog. Wordpress is great if it's more of a website type of blog. Good to see you here again. ;)

It's good to see you stick your head up. The good news is, there are good techniques available to help you discover all the good things you have to write about but didn't realize it yet.

I didn't get to see the movie after all, but it still inspired me to:

• learn and do a lot more cooking-her Wok Sauté of Grated Zucchini with Fresh Spinach is nearly a controlled substance, it's so good;
• read two books on St. Julia, Child of God, and her life, e.g. her My Life in France and Shapiro's Julia Child: A Life; and
• learn more about her friend and fellow culinary lights who helped teach America about good food,
