1. I think I could in fact read chapter after chapter of ridiculously entertaining cat shenanigans. But somehow, you know this, I suspect.

2. Loving the actual Dracula references (you're making me wanna re-read) and it pings my curiosity as to the in-verse lore around the book itself.

I could probably write chapter upon chapter of cat shenanigans and it would NEVER GET OLD. Considering Antonio is a cat for 80% of this fic, you'll be seeing a lot more, don't worry. That and bats. Adorable squishy bats.

I swear that wherever there was a vampire hunter in a famous story or any other kind of monster slayer, I'm dropping them in here as a historical character. Although I should probably go back to Dracula and look at it PROPERLY. |D

...sadly it is starting to look that way. Considering he's just a ghost, and he's stuck, he's pretty useless. The only thing left for him to do is sit around and think about his place in the universe. 8|

I WOULD READ EVERY SINGLE WORD OF THAT FIC, I CAN'T EVEN LIE. ESPECIALLY IF OTHER CATS WERE INVOLVED.

I-i am almost tempted to ask if this means certain other pieces of media (Van Helsing, Twilight etc.) get passed around and laughed at ala MST3k. Because everyone needs something on their off time.

His place in the university is to maintain the precious little sanity.

And on a re-read, I actually found myself reminded of the Old Guard in Neil Gaiman's Graveyard Book in relation to the other hunters in this fic, but I doubt that was intentional.

YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST THING? Turkey capturing Romano and Spain having to go after him. Riding a bull. ONLY THE CAST WERE ALL CATS.

I - I have to say I'm tempted to make Twilight refs in later chapters, mostly in regards to Alfred being a huge fanboy and the hunters just going ...WHAT. But yes, I imagine they often get together and read comics and then snort over how terribly "unrealistic" it all is.

His own sanity, rather than the sanity of others. That's a lost cause.

Things are rarely intentional with me lmao orz;;; But I suppose it can be looked at that way. XD

Both this fic and hellzabeth's make me so happy you don't even know ;w; You've turned me into a Port/Eng shipper now and that little moment between them was nice (those bats are precious and I want one for myself to call Squishy). I'm excited to see what'll happen next ♥♥♥

FFS, I'm in the middle of writing a US/UK fic when I was reading this and NOW UI want to write this as Port/UK...and I would if people wouldn't kill me.

sob I'm sorry. Port/UK has strange powers like that. God only knows the last time I wrote US/UK I stopped halfway to have some interaction with Portugal and never went back a-ahaha. But I don't want people to kill you, so... ;3; GOOD LUCK.

This story is filled with a surprising number of cute critters, despite the fact that it's supposed to be TERRIFYING MONSTERS. ;u;

Admittedly I was going to write this entire story from Francis's POV, but then looking back on it I realized I wouldn't get to DERE ANYWHERE so now there are multiple POVs. |D

Arthur's bats are all about displaying his true moe feelings. The vampires breed them like pedigree dogs, and they're all bawww-worthy. ;u;
