Whoops, posted my first comment in the wrong spot.

I'd say something more coherent, but the only thing going through my head right now is FAERIES.

I love faerie folklore and myths and all of it. This looks like it is going to be amazing <3!

That's alright! \o/

And yes faeries are awesome ;ldkf, especially the darker side to them that everyone seems to forget. It's been really fun to research, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it looks as awesome on paper as it does in my head! XD

Don't worry, I figured. XD Yesssss faeries are not nice. Darn Romantic era of literature making them all cute and sweet.

Eh, modern lit is starting to make em a bit more tricksy. Holly Black's books, the Inkheart series has mentions of tricksy faeries

After this I seriously started to feel that he's easily distracted by the shiny orz;;; LIKE A BIRD. Port you only have yourself to blame for this. /table flip

Awwww thank you bb. I'm so glad. :DDD Port/England + nasty fae = AWESOME. The plot is already planned out long and epic for this idek. We've already written about 3 chapters ahead, but we just decided to test run the one first. XD

Port: *falls into another faerie ring, or ditch, or just trips over fm - ooh shiny*

lmao yes, it adds up to about 40 pages altogether, which is quite terrifying. I'll see when we can put the next ones up though. I don't want to spam the comm more than we already have a-ahaha orz. ...though incentive is always welcome. *grabby hands back* XDDD

lmao WHY. I TALK IN CAPS ALL THE TIME. <333 It's awesome.

Lovely fic, it was cool that you used the fae lore in it. And it was really well written, on top of that. Though, your name for Portugal...is that not Brazilian, not Portuguese?

DETAILS :'D whatevs, whatevs. Really, nicely written and interesting :3

But, and, don't take this harshly, does this really belong on the main comm? I just know that, generally, these sorts of pieces are discouraged from being posted there (non-canon, etc), and I remember a post of similar nature to this having been bullied into being taken down.
Ah well, double standards in the fandom :'D

Ahh, I always forget that people aren't familiar with my Portugal like some of my f-list. I should edit in a note like that. But the long and short of it is that his name is really Afonso-Gabriel, but he only took the "Afonso" part after becoming a nation, since that was the name of his first king. The Gabriel was actually "Jibril" from his Islamic days. So really, anyone who's known him since before the 1100s or thereabouts would know him as Gabriel.

But I TL;DR and there's a reason behind everything orz.

Well, I've been posting Portugal-related fics to the main comm since the middle of last year and I've yet to have any problems? 8D; Though I get where you're coming from for sure, I still worry about that sometimes. |D;;;

Anyway! Thanks very much again. Glad you enjoyed. <3
