France has had commitment issues his whole life I'm sure of this orz. He just doesn't want to be tied down ever. But Scotland's been crushing on him since FOREVER so it's really such a shame for him and they DO have things in common really, they just need to look a little deeper. XD
Al-Andalus is a dick, there's nothing else for it. Not to mention he was rather arrogant in thinking that only HE could love Spain and Port in the way that they needed to be, even though he was kind of beating them up at the same time orz. Well Portugal signed a treaty during WWII that gave England permission to use the Azores as a military base...it was basically invoking their old alliace again. But he was very reluctant to do it, because he was neutral orz.I think... you gave Macau back because you were giving ALL your colonies back, plus China DID want him...sort of, he just kind of beat around the bush taking custody again, which is kind of sad orz. I love the expansion of the first, too, even though it's even more heartbreaking (or because of it). Scotland must have been absolutely shattered then, losing both Mary and France... I don't understand how he managed to keep loving France, sometimes. I really don't.
And I'd still love to read an expansion on both the crack and AU scenarios. They're so much fun! And more on teenage Scotland and France, too of course, because it's so precious. (In short, I want as much Scotland/France as I can get my hands on, as ever. Especially more of your Scotland/France, because it's so good.)
I enjoyed everything else, too, especially the mermaid!Portugal drabble! Haha, I don't think I've ever read mermaid fic, but the set-up's really intriguing, and I'd love to read more of it...

God the Treaty of Edinburgh breaks my heart in so many ways, argh. I swear he must have gone into some dark, rose-coloured world in the back of his mind where everything was picture perfect just so he could gloss over the pain. And well...it wasn't really France asking for the breakdown of the alliance. It was his own people. So that must have hurt even more orz.
Ahaha yes I'm definitely going to expand on those two because they're too hilarious not to be. XD I love them when they were young because Scotland was so awkward and France was so pretty and it was just...it was amazing. And the kids are so, so cute and perfect and Luci climbing trees is the cutest thing ever <3 I loved it. And the ending is awesome, bro, I keep hoping Spain will at least... pat his head or *something*, anything Ç_Ç the bonding fic, bro, I need it. I also need more kids. You're awesome at writing them.

Luciano is totally one of those never-sits-still kids who climb on trees and go on ADVENTURES and harass EVERYONE. <333 ;A; Spain orz.
