ADSFJLKDFSJKLADJLSFAKDFJSLKADFJSLA;K!!!!

I read you had written Portugal in the other fic, Bring Me the Horizon, so I went to read that one first before this.

AND WOW! Perfecto. I didn't really have a headcanon for Portugal till now.

T-THANK YOU VERY MUCH. *__*

hahaha yes there isn't that much on Portugal anywhere, so I was free to mould him to image I have in my head. I really want to write him interacting with Spain though, which will happen soon enough. |D

Thanks again for reading! I'm glad you liked it! :DDD

FFFFFF. I'm so glad I asked if you wrote for Portugal *__*

Man, where do I start. I like your head-cannon of Portugal a hell of a lot now: Exceptionally proud, inwardly brilliant, but I'd imagine that he goes under a facade much like Spain's actual personality. It fits him to a T (and makes him bloody sexy &hearts).

I also really need to say that I loved the little thing Port did in the heat of his and England's argument, where he did the Japanese tea ceremony thing with his cup. I don't know why, but that was the first thing which tuned me into his inner brilliance and cunning wit. A very smart, subtle move all the same.

And the smut. 83 Heh, I'm not qualified to say much, but it was really good~

And this sounds a tad odd but er... I love your footnotes? XD And how exceptionally detailed they are. Awesome. Teaches me a thing or two about history. I really like how you worked the wine/cloth trade thing in.

Lets see. Anything else. Hm. Ah. The thing where Port wears his ring on his hand (like how it should be worn XD), while ( ... )

Oh god, I totally forgot that Spain's against England, as much as Port's with him. Aha, anticipating that even more~

It'd take forever for me to reply all of that, so... Thank you for the very impressive review-reply? XD

England is the brother-in-law Spain never wanted to have. And what's worse he's not even Catholic! lol It's funny how that is. I love dysfunctional relationships.

hahaha not at all! I just like replying to each part individually, especially when someone leaves such an impressive comment in the first place~ ;D

God, I should probably post a warning for my comment. So, consider yourself warned that YOU WILL THINK I’M A BIG LOSER after this. XD ( ... )

;sldkf awww I could never think that! XD

I swear I worried over Portugal a lot because the most I did before writing him was just quickly read up on his history. So I'm amazed at how well-formed he appeared as a character after that. And that feels especially weird to say because he's an OC...being IC. |D England...doesn't think he's being selfish per se, he just utterly brisk about business and never lets anything stand in the way of his Empirical aspirations, whereas Portugal loves England until it hurts. He puts his relationship with England far above his political aspects as a country, but England always had a bad habit of mixing business with pleasure. |D ( ... )

It tells a lot about them, this. Because, yes, Portugal harmed himself - and his own Empire - more than once for England, and you just don’t see England doing this. Of course, England helped Portugal out more than once too, but when it comes to sacrifice, he just doesn’t, and since Portugal would pretty much sacrifice everything for England - and he’s clever enough to be aware of this - it leaves some room for resentment. It’s sad, really, but at the same time makes your fic deeper and more intense, because that’s who they are, and that’s how they relate to each other ( ... )

Portugal's always valued his alliance with England as something special and when he does something for him, he does it out of the goodness of his heart. Alliance/marriages are all about give and take, and let's just say England did a lot of the taking. |D I think England has long since learnt that Portugal is soft on him, and has taken it to mean he can always have his way around him. Portugal never minded indulging him to be fair though, but I think he'd be utterly bitter after this ( ... )

Thank you very much! :DDD hahaha Portugal was never prone to thickheadedness like his brother that's for sure. He's quite sly when you get down to it; though they're both seekritly yandere. |D

It's so fun pitting England against another Empire just like himself, and especially an older one like Portugal! I love England, but I have to agree on the Imperialistic Bastard front, he's such a jerk. WITH LUCK HE'LL LEARN HIS ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES. BD;

hahaha no it's okay, I really loved writing that cuddling scene. They're just so amazingly TENDER with each other it's really quite amazing. They're both cuddlers so it all works out ;)

ps. O rly? That's interesting to know and I'll keep that in mind! XDDD I need proper translations orz.

HAHAHA YES. Portugal's not openly confrontational, but he's quite good at getting his revenge when he wants to. X)

ps. Thanks so much for offering, I could probably use Brazilian if and when Brazil himself makes an appearance, because I want Port's colonies to have SOME role in this story. XD

Umm edit the lines: I hadn't read the 20th century dictatorship when I wrote some of them. Fanons always make Arthur lament about the loss of his colonies even though he granted them independence, he always asked himself why, and didn't let go of the past. I didn't realise Portugal went through a rougher patch. so yeah, sorry about that :S)
