Um, reason number 13 why PotC3 disappointed me? The (unnecessary) death of Admiral James Norrington. Did he need to die? No. Did they need to make his character a wet dishtowel for his five minutes of screen time? No. It could have been really interesting if they had him join forces with Cutler Beckett, not as a pawn but as a man who knew exactly what he was doing. They certainly made that obvious in the end of PotC2. ARR!
