But but the ending made me want to cry.
;_;

I thought the Soushi/Kzuki dynamic throughout the anime was really interesting and well developed, but then they went and disappeared Soushi, and I had to write something for it, especially with how his promise would be to poor Kazuki.

Glad you enjoyed it, even though it is pure angst.

...I'm attempting to get my brain to rev up its plot bunny starter engine, so here's to hoping for more SnF.
:)

More SnF! yeay!
Anyway, I really LOVE the angts... and the final of the series was kinda shocking, I didn't spected that... >.<
But, I think it is the only way they can say "mmm... maybe Kazuki and Soushi can BE"...

Think for a moment what will happen if, in the end, Soushi didn't dissapear?? Maya still there ¬¬... (XDDD sorry, I can't talk well of her). The idea of a promise (and a waiting lover, i have to say) is way BETTER than nothing or, maybe, a hidden THING.
And.. the most important thing... MAYBE a second part... *---*

PS:
1. It is only my opinion :D.
2. Love your fic and I will read more of your so on.
3. Sorry my hard and terrible english... I learned it (a bit) at school and the rest on forums xDDD

I don't know, I reckon Kaxuki and Soushi could have been "together" without the dramatic "I'm now going to turn myself to dust" thing of Soushi's
I didn't really like Maya but there is one thing about her that puts her above many of the other female characters I come across in anime. She was accepting (and even expecting) Kazuki and Soushi as each other's most important people.

Gah! Why isn't there a sequel for it? (though then we'd probably complain when they stuffed it up *sigh*)

p.s.
I find your english no problem, you get your point across clearly.
^_^

I liked this... despite that I don't really get it because I don't know the fandom...

::le sigh::

...you don't know the fandom?

O_O

...despite its claim to being a mecha show, and including one mecha fight approx. every episode (same art style as gundam seed), the mechas have very little to do with the plot. The plot is PURE ANGST! Caught up in the dynamics of war and sacrifice and love and life and death...

If you can get over the mecha, maybe this will be an appropriate series to send you for christmas? (if you haven't already got it by then anyway).

This anime made me crave to watch it, though it left my heart feeling pinched after alot of the episodes.

Still, glad you can enjoy it without it's fandom context as well.

That's so... well, not exactly 'pretty' because it's too sad. But it's nice all the same.

I agree with what Siegfried said :3

The end of the series was pure angst anyway, I just found a muse that wanted to drive the point home.

I'm happy you could like it for all it's sadness.

Meep!
I'm sorry?

But it had to be written, really it did. The was Soushi did it just made me think that he wasn't taking into accoun the fcat that Kazuki had (to a lesser extent) experienced the same thing. Those boys were a real dose of pure angst throughout their relationship.

...and I want a sequel. Badly.

Owie. I love this pairing, but the fandom is so small that it makes me cry.

And of course, there's the ANGST.

I think you've done a great job in capturing Kazuki's thoughts on Soushi. Though this makes me incredibly sad and makes me want to go look around for fluffy fics that will make me feel happy. ;___;

Good read, though! <33

Soushi/Kazuki are such a beautifully angsty pairing whose thoughts seem to be on a continuous loop around each other,death and guilt seem to be the foundation of their interactions more than half the time. They're also the most canon (non BL genre) m/m couple I've ever come across in an anime.

It's disappointing that this fandom is so small. It's just such a beautiful piece of angsty drama disguised as a mecha anime.

Actually, I find it incredibly hard to think fluffy for this pairing, and the fluff I come up with is false and even more depressing.

I still want to wail over the ending. Soushi just up and disappearing on Kazuki with a promise that basically seems impossible to keep.

*sniffle*
This fandom...*shakes head*...it has really cornered the part of my soul that adores (while hating) angst.

Glad you enjoyed(?) it.
