So, in the past year or so I fully admit to becoming a bit of a coffee snob. If I have, though, it's because I was pushed into it by the horrible swill they pass off at the office here.

Most places have some kind of commercial coffee pot like this, and they supply some vacuum packs of ground coffee. That stuff is pretty much guaranteed to be

Yeaaaaah. I don't have a grinder, but I buy small quantities of bulk coffee that you grind in the machines at the store weekly and then french press it, throw it in my travel mug and have myself a very nicely caffeinated morning.

I really really want one of those french press mugs that you can just make the whole thing in. Mmmmm. To go.

Like these? Kind of neat, although I'm not sure I'd want my coffee in contact with the grounds in the bottom there for that long. Seems like it would just keep leeching the tannins and get overly bitter.
