Quick review: How to Train Your Dragon.

It was awe-inspiring to behold.

The plot's foundation was the usual coming-of-age / misfit trope, but it held quite a few surprising twists and turns.  Its dramatic impact held some huge punches, and pulled very few.

The highlights for me: the dragons' depiction as intelligent. social animals -- with each species having its own quirks, personalities
