The Gnoll Patrol Takes 14

Well, we had another session, and a few things came up:

  • Apparently ladybrowyn and Ms. caelia are not informed about when they will need to be at job-related things until moments before it happens. Thus, I cannot consider them regular players. I also failed to keep track of lokodraucarn's schedule, because he only mentioned what was going on briefly once, several weeks ago, and if he told me when it was, I didn't think to write it down at the time because I thought he would mention it again nearer to the relevant event. In any case, we have had two games in a row where I only managed two players each, so I am instituting a policy whereby my semi-regular players (blitzcon, lokodraucarn, and Cheesecutter) have two characters each, just to beef up the party. The latter is working on his already, while the former two will need to come by sometime to prepare new characters. (Of course, blitzcon could just play Griswald if he wants.)

  • I didn't have a chance to prepare the next adventure in time for tomorrow, and I can't compete with both the cleaning lady and four episodes of Whose Line, so there is no session on Monday. In general, I am going to have to think of somewhere new to play, as Mother watches several shows nightly and this really disrupts the game. I doubt anyone (including myself) would want to start earlier. Six hours would be a reasonable time for a session, but since I can never get people to start by that time, it's not really feasible. Suggestions are welcome.

  • As you may have noticed, the weekend after that is orbix's wedding, and arifyn will be here, so I'd like to try to get the session in on Sunday 2005.08.14 or Monday 2005.08.15, when he can attend. Sunday may be a problem because we'll have to get some sleep and travel in after the ceremony, et cetera. Would Monday work for you people?

P.S. The site has been updated.

P.P.S. Buliwyf and Rudiger need to level up.
