I think this might effect the storytelling. While I'm all for new styles, I know that much of the cartoony antics in the series is going to have to change as well.

I've always always wanted to be an artist for Archie Comics and have almost perfected their cartoony style and now they do this! :(

I have to admit that this is how I really draw people but not the Archie people!! They deserve their own style!!

Oh my. NO WAY. They're changing the way they looked since the beginning of time! It's not a small change either - it's so drastic.

Well I'm going to go start buying more of the current Archies as I see them because I don't like the new look at all. Then I'll read them whenever I feel like it in the future. I already have quite a collection of digests and the regular comics, so I'll have plenty to read. But I don't know that I'll buy the new ones if they really are going to look like that.

I like manga myself, but I also like the Archies look. Both are unique and very good, but if Archies tries to become manga...ew.
