my brother & i had a brief discussion about a picture someone posted of a truck that took up four spaces in a parking lot  by parking over that four-corners area where they all meet. i said that was a special kind of a-hole to do that. he said it was a d-bag. i said; "isn't that pretty much the same thing?" which spawned this idea for a poll.

wal-mart (and later super wal-mart) has been in my area since the early to mid 1990s, target since the 2000s sometime. i go to wal-mart on average once per week, i go to target maybe 2 or 3 times per year. i've bought all kinds of things from wal-mart; food, cleaning products, clothes & shoes. i buy few things from target; mostly food, once got ( Read more... )

for some reason i was thinking about politics & i remember the big stink about sara palin not having a passport. i recall thinking at the time; so what? i don't have one. no one i know has one. i bet most americans don't have one. was it because if she became vice president she'd have to travel outside of the u.s.?

i was reading in someone's DW about their 12 year old still believing in santa. i stopped at 6 or 7. what did it was the year that my mom gave us presents wrapped in the sunday funnies with no names on them, but still knew who got what. i think i voiced my doubts to my mom who asked me to keep the fiction going for my brother who's 3 years younger ( Read more... )
