What is with lj? I log in, but as soon as I go to another screen, I find I'm logged back out, so I can't read locked posts on my flist, and I can't even see locked posts on my own lj. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

They are pushing a LOT of code through right now. Most of this Log In Log Out crap is a result of the domain name switching. (Look up in your URL address, and you will see what I mean.)

I wish they could do this during an OFF time, but there isn't any OFF time for LJ!

Hope that helps. Just hang in there and they should be finished with all this soon.

Thanks! That is reassuring. I was paranoid because this comes just hours after losing all my bookmarks due to a Firefox glitch. :P

It settled down for me fairly quickly. I haven't decided if I like the new URLs or not...

It's just frustrating. I know it will recover and I really shouldn't complain since mine is a free account. Thanks for helping me to bear the wait! :)

I'm not having any problems, but I know others are. Strange how these glitches always happen during ORC, isn't it? It's a conspiracy. :D

Grr. I have to re-log in for every comment I make. And I NEED my lj this weekend so I can keep up this vicarious existence of mine at ORC time.
It IS a conspiracy! ;-)

Don't forget to change your password so it has both letters and numbers if you haven't already. I guess Firefox users have been vulnerable to hijacking, and this is the defense.
