Jon, there is nothing wrong with adaptations of the classics....in fact, it is some of the hardest theatre to do.....With that said little one, if you are in class the third tri, then I will let you direct a show of your choice...just not Iguana, because if i am here next year, then I am going to do it. If not, then i will make sure than whoever come is knows that you should student direct it. I wanted to do it this year, but didn't think we were mature enough for it yet. However, it will be next year.

I enjoy the classics, but I just find the chorus system extremely hard to put into modern settings. And the language doesnt ever seem to fit too well.

Anyway, <3 <3 Mrs H and 3rd tri. Im nearly positive im in the class 3rd tri, so I suppose I should start looking at shows.

Trust me on the chorus....you will see....there are still things to be cut. I had to be careful when I sent it back to the publisher. Imagine then as washer women, coming and going...you will see. Medea will be good. Oh, I want you to look at the lines of Creon.....just trust me on this one.

Allright, Ill learn them too.

And I've been looking at a couple of plays. Id like to do a Neil Simon one, possible Chapter Two or Prisoner of Second Avenue (heehee, that rhymed!).

Anyway, does the play need to be a one act? Or is a full length show, with cuts, okay?
And Ive got more questions, but Ill just ask them in person if we have rehearsal over break.
