Fantastic! I was kinda let down that they didn't mention the whole relationship between books. Every window into that time is a good one!

Yeah, I still haven't bothered to read the sequel precisely because I heard they weren't in it much. And actually, I tend to prefer the movie version over the book. The movie focused on the relationship and character development a lot more, whereas I always felt the book was more about the plot, and then Diana Wynne Jones just sorta stuck Sophie and Howl together at the end as an afterthought because it was expected. But that's just my feeling. XD Plus, I think Michael is way cuter as a little kid.

I kind of wanted to give Howl a poke and a hug at the end, there.

I like where you ended it. If it had gone on much longer, well, you'd have to come up with his response, and personally I rather like the idea of leaving it hanging in the air. It's not clear what his response is going to be, but with Howl you never really know, and so it fits him perfectly.

In any case, I know what happens, but this is still cute. :]
