I finally have long-term health insurance again. In preparation for seeking out a new doctor familiar with FMS and covered by my insurance, and then going in for a complete physical and what have you, I decided to do something of a personal update on what are currently considered symptoms of FMS, and whether or not they effect me ( Read more... )

Thanks for posting that. Aside from the things that i could attribute to Crohn's Disease, smoking, and a long-ago bout with rheumatic fever, I can identify a startling number of those in myself.

And congratulations on getting health insurance! Squee!

Much squee! on the health insurance. :) I haven't been completely without insurance, but since switching jobs, it's been a succession of short-term plans until we got a company insurance plan set up. I've been covered in case of emergency, but I've put off any check-ups until I could have a PCP that I wouldn't have to change.

I hadn't seen a comprehensive list of secondary symptoms like this, before, and I was amazed to find that all of my nagging health concerns were covered.
