after rains like that, does your desert bloom into life with carpets of flowers? Much of the Aust. desert does that if it gets rain at about the right time - at least for a few weeks.
In the spring, yes. Spring is our wildflower time. In midsummer, some things bloom but it depends on all conditions being right. In the fall, another set of plants bloom with the rains.
