I got started in the path of equal pairings in my last fandom, I think, where the 'submissive' partner was... full of secrets and sparkly and a mean bastard, while the 'dom' was an emotional mess. They could still fit into the usual dom/sub, but they kind of really didn't. I love them so! and that's what makes Bruce and Clark so fun for me, you can play any angle and it will still work.
