Agh, Mina, I knew this would be awesome! But its awesomeness tops even my high expectation. Because I love the Alligator Chorus, I want to rub their tummies and feed them plump bunnies and let them bask in the sun. :) And I'm so happy for Croc here, I can totally see him just grinning (I can only see the animated version for some reason) and diving in.

The last four lines are perfectly beautiful. It's all lovely but those four are so gorgeous. Yay Croc! Yay Alligator Chorus!

*hums happily and wants to run away and live in the swamp*

Nooo! don't feel the bunnies to the alligators! *hugs the bunnies* Feed them birds. Plump birds. That aren't adorable and don't live in cups. I loved the alligators too, they were.. interesting! and collective! I'm getting a hang on collective voices for the Collective Unconsciousness prompt.

I was thrilled when I read the plot of the story line. Giving Croc some clousure is really mercifull and nice. But of course they had to get him out of it and fuck him up :( poor Croc. But maybe the animated version of him got to stay with the alligators!

All right, birds and fish it is. Nice fat fish and birds. :) They were so awesome, and I can hardly wait to see what you do for Collective Unconscious now!

Thank you! I really enjoyed writing this one, and now that you say it... I really like the idea of the Rogues being called into being, sort of, by Gotham. Maybe Gotham calls their children too, like the Green calls her own. I think Gotham is magical, really. Once you har the calling, you can't live the city! that's why no one leaves it despite it being a death-wish to live there.

Thank youuu! I love music-presents! I'm downloading them all, and those soundtracks sound like a lot of fun! I can't believe there's a song called the Balad of Barry Allen :D That rocks!

Thank you very much! *huugs* I'm looking forward to see the full mixes :)

BoBA is one of my favorite songs. :) I'm glad you hadn't heard it before; a lot of the songs on these are from fangirls (because I tend to make mixes mostly with the music I'm currently listening to, and I've been listening to all my new fangirl music) so I had trouble picking things I was sure you hadn't heard. :D
Suggestions on different titles and other songs are welcome. I'm guessing they won't be done until I'm home and have free time.

Croc is sort of really sweet! ...my animated version of him, at least. He's scary sometimes, but he's really sweet nontheless. *pets Croc* I looove Swamp Thing. I'm glad you liked it!

And thank you! I had a very good day despite a bunch of setbacks. I turned 22, I keep thinking a scarred silver dollar would have been most appropiate, but no one agreed with me :P

Woo! Swamp Thing/Killer Croc! This was made of awesome! I loved the little quote at the beginning giving a little snippet of Swamp Thing's origin.

And the alligator chorus! (Err ... I think it was the alligator chorus? lol) Their voice was great, the way it was so primal and based in instinct; the way they're so connected to the land. And your descriptions were fantastic! The slow moving waters and the smell of azaleas and the moss and the sand banks-not that I've ever been to a swamp, lol, but you really captured the way it seems like one should feel!

I loved this part especially:

They left our waters too long ago, and they have brought change upon themselves and their surroundings, forgetting the language of the Swamp. But we call them still, for we know not how we could ever stop. In the recesses of their souls, they still belong to the Swamp, they still remember us.The way it made the swamp seem like this cradle of all life. I want to return to the swamp now! LOL ... or ... maybe not ( ... )

It's totally crazy how Swamp Thing's origin -well, not the comics one, but the legend in Louisiana- fits a Gotham rogue better... there were some really crazy theories, though, and some that did fit Swamp Thing, but I liked how they both could share a legend :) I'm glad you liked the story! I really like it, it's one of the first times I'm consciously trying to write different than what I usually write, and I'm glad to hear it turned out okay ( ... )

Woo! Congrats on the full time summer job, sis! Although no internet at work? Egads! I think I would die! Although I'm trying to cut down on my work-internet usage anyway. It is soooo distracting!!!! And not helping with productivity, lol. But I don't know how else to keep up with the crazy LJ monster without sneaking moments with it every once in a while during the work day.

But yay for 3D modeling! And yay for your furniture! Is this from your carpentry class? I can't wait to see it! I'm sure it looks fab. XD
