So, I wrote this during one particular boring class, for __marcelo. Happy birthday!! this was spawned by your delicious AU and the way you scare my brain into Crime Syndicate fantasies for comfort. Yeah, you're that good :)

Thank you! I was trying a '5 universes Lord Batman didn't see', and this one was the first one to come up. I might never do the others, but this one freaked me out :P

Oh goodness, doesn't it?! I strongly encourage you as well. I loved this and loved your Lord Batman voice. Wonderful little characterization and it left me wanting more.

Wow, Mina. You did this on a lark? It's an excellent way to write Lord Batman. I had also thought that he'd likely be bored in a universe where there was nothing to fight. Bravo on a wonderful characterization in so short a story. This really deserves a continuation.

Thanks T! I was very bored in class, and this is my first attempt of public writing (writing with people around has never been my thing). It helps that it wasn't slashy :P

Lord Batman can be very, very woobie, or very, very scary. I think he's also lost sight of his own boundaries and motivations. He's a very smart guy with nothing to do. I mean, he built a dimensional portal out of -boredom-. I think that side of Bruce can be exploted a lot.

And isn't it funny how hard it is to write when other people are around. I can write with Jen, of course, but even when we are chatting with her folks or my folks or some old friends--writing just grinds to a halt. I think that was part of the reason I couldn't write when I was in the US. Too much of a chance that some crisis or other would happen.

And yeah, I simply get blocken when there's people around. I feel very paranoid and just dread the scenario where someone starts asking me what am I doing. The few of my friends who know I write fanfiction think it's very quirky and want to see it. I refuse! This is my secret life! and I relish it with passion :) I don't know how Vic did to write everywhere, all the time, with everybody. I was so inspired by that, I had to try. Guess it's not too hard if the rest of the people are otherwise preocupied (like in class!). I hope you get your muse back soon, now that only Jen will look over your shoulder :)

Oh, god. Lord Batman and OSV!Bruce and one that makes his own city look like a fake plastic copy, an amusement park that isn’t even very amusing. ... God, this is fantastic.

And Bruce looking at Lord Batman through the portal killed me.

I'm very glad you liked it! I didn't know you had a birthday coming, but I was writing this in class, playing with your universe. It's a too scary place to visit, so Lord Batman is just going to be the good voyeur he is, and twist the rules. Your Bruce Wayne seems eerie enough to be able to *feel* someone watching him, so I blame the smiling back on you!
