Do I bring Kon into the Superman Returns continuity or not? Do I write in the Titans or leave it to Gotham's Knights? It's not like I'm lacking family for Jay, it's just that... Tim without Kon seems so weird

I definitely want to see Mina do Daddy Clark, since he won't be daddy-ing it up much in mine (there'll be some, but he pretty much considers that Lois and Richard are the kid's real parents and doesn't want to mess about with it too much).
I have to admit there is something rather cool about Clark having a hissy fit. It's hard to see in the comics version, but this movie version of him seems up to it.
Can you believe I had totally forgotten your Clark had a kid? Tssk. Shows you how much attention I put to my surroundings when there's Bruce around :P

I think we might need to hire someone to pry that Guitar Hero thing out of your hands because it's obviously trying to interfere with you fic production.
I think you should leave Kon out. Too many kids might get hard to manage. You;d have to factor in the relatinship between Kon and Clark and also between JJ and Kon. Could get complicated, and you're mostly in the movieverse anyway. You could always leave out Tim too.
Lol, but Guitar Hero is my friend! I play and think then come back adn do some editing then go play some more, etc. It's mostly me playing, I admit, because I'm addicted, but I just reached the last 3 songs on the hard setting and I *know* I won't be clearing those any time soon :( they are hard!
And i'm thinking that you are right and Kon will stay out of this, at least for a while. In my weird convoluted time table, Clark wasn't around the world when Lex would have clonned Kon. So I might bring Kon about, but.. later on. After this 'arc' is finished. Hah! that sounds mighty ambicious!
I guess I'm going to pull the animated!verse card again and have no Kon, but keep Tim. I'm going to have to make notes or something...
I don't want to discourage you on Kon, it's just that DC has treated his relationship with Clark so inconsistently. One minute Kon clearly thinks of Clark as a father, and the next Clark's treating him like an untrustworthy annoyance or ignoring their relationship completely. If you add Kon into *this* fic, you almost *have* to address how Clark feels about him, whether he views him as more or less his *son* than JJ. It would make for a great story, but it would have to be the one you want to tell because it could easily take over the whole fic.
You don't need Kon right now but you can bring him in later on, he could be cloned by Cadmus and then escape like he originally did or he can be Lex's secret little half-Luthor and half-Supes clone-son that he raised and plans to use against Supes (kind of like Talia with Damien except Lex would say bad things to Kon about his other dad
( ... )
I think bringing hi later on is the way to go. Right now Clark is having a hard enough time trying to cope, and having two unknown children might just be too much.
"Dammit Clark! How many kids did you actually have you bastard!"
LOL, that would be too funny! Now I'm wondering if I should just.. hint at Conner's existence... arg! hard! well. I'll deal with the problem at hand first...
And you know Bruce has everything set *just so* and will end bickering with Clark's impromptu ideas. But then, Bruce is kind of trying not to cramp Clark's space by fighting his 'ahhh!! mine!' instincts. He's quite a possesive chap.
I am attempting it. I'm trying to straighten up my continuity before going any further because suddenly there's people Superman never even met! That's wrong! Silly five years of absence!
tim definitely needs his Kon. Those too really go together.
2400 words so far. Stupid long chapter is just.. not ending! I got tangled with canon tonight and decided to straighten it up a bit instead of writting, but I think I sort of got it. Kind of. I'll show you the notes later, because suddenly Batman canon is not fitting the JLA canon *sigh* DC is on crack!

I have srsly missed something here. I apologize for skipping out on my friends list.
This sounds interesting but I do not understand. ;____;
(And I miss Kon too.)

And I don't think there's been much to miss, ecept that I'm continuing on the Superman Returns Redux Challenge that turned into something of a monster story :P Don't know if you read it, but it's here. In any case, it's me going crazy with continuity and batty!Jason Lane or whatever the kids name was :)
I miss Kon a lot. My Tim muse refuses to play without him. I have to pull the animated Tim muse, and that one is scarily young...

Currently, my Tim Muse wants to keep playing in the "Jack is alive and he knows" timeline. It's one of my faves.
