The writers block is gone, and I'm back on track with the psych_30 entries. I was checking my prompt card (it worked for something, woo!), and decided Nature vs. Nurture HAD to be Ivy’s. And since I’m developing a fetish for Gotham as a living thing of sorts, I liked the image of the three Gs in different planes: Gaia’s Chosen, the Green and Gotham. I’m ( Read more... )

... Damn, this is fantastic. You can almost *smell* the night, the sirens, the Green. Ivy and Gotham and Woodrue so out of his depth. The idea itself is great, but the way the details weave the scenery is plain awesome.

Thank you! I had a little animated scene in my head, and wanted to tell it like I saw it. Also, I have a thing for crazy redheads... I mean, really. Floronic Man vs. Poison Ivy? The sexy is going to own Woodrue... I'm glad you liked this!

Yai! I'm glad it.. sort of worked! I don't know who's being nature and who's being nurture, but I guess Ivy is nurture.. and nature.. and Woodrue just doesn't have a chance? Maybe? Well. It was fun to write!

Oooh, the description of Ivy's smile was...wow. I could so see Ivy here, looking the way Jim Lee draws her in Hush. Your use of red and green in describing her was fantastic.

Good work!

Thanks! I could see Ivy standing there too, with the woods and Gotham and the moon... and my mind can't help drooling. The description of her smile and, well, her, was one of the funnest things I have got to write. The imagery was drowning me! I'm glad you liked it :)

It definitely showed that you were on a roll there! Isn't that a great feeling? I love to see your muses at work...

You know, I was just thinking that too.... :-(

Theresa...you'll have to make up the gap with your own work!

Dahling, I could never match Mina's production (or yours, for that matter). I write like a snail.

Thank T! I love the rogues, and this two kind of wrote themselves once I ahd an idea...

And I know! S/B! ahh! I haven't started on Sasha's birthday story! but last night I finished editing a S/B story that is, at this moment, sucking so much I want to cry. Sasha almost had to re-write it while beta'ing it. The editing is done, now I have to sit down and re-read and re-write again, but at this point I hate it so much I don't even feel like posting it. Heh. you know the feeling, I guess.
