If you haven't read Batman 80 Page Giant #1 yet I encourage you to do so! there's a bunch of very cool stories and the rest aren't bad, just.. meh. But still! Not bad! I really liked the one with Alfred and the prostitute. YES THAT'S WHAT I SAID

Tony Daniel is a horrible writer. I can't believe he's writing a flag title with his crap plots and terrible characterizations.

I don't know what's up with Dick either. I'm not his biggest fan, but he's a more-than-competent superhero on his own right, and he's being far from competent in most books, not to speak of his shitty attitude -you do NOT tell Barbara to get her 'crap' out of the cave, specially you do not do this against Alfred's wishes!- and this stunt with Selina seems to make very little sense to me. I can see him asking her for a favor, but saying she owes it to the mantle? uhhhm, of all the people around the mantle, I think Selina was the one that didn't really let the mantle get between her and the guy under it, so.. blerg. I don't know if it's just terrible writing or what crawled up Dick's ass.

The second story was very cute, and I love love Selina there! uncompromising! Rawr! the Giant has a lot of awesome stories! hope you enjoyed it too!

Man, Grant Morrison appears to be the only author at the moment writing Dick as anything approaching responsible and like-able. Tony Daniel is a pretty terrible writer and I don't really like his art either.

Also, is it a good idea for Dick and Selina to be discussing Batman stuff in hearing range of a bunch of models or whatever?

I really don't understand why the Bat-clan haven't, I don't know, given Hush plastic surgery or something. There has to be a better way of dealing with him than making him pretend to be Bruce.

Man, Tony Daniel is super crap! I can't believe he's writing Batman, he's terrible, and he writes Dick as a complete jackass. I agree, Dick is only being somewhat likeable in B&R, though I'm a bit D: at Damian getting shot in the spine and Dick being all 'oh don't worry, you mom's doctors will be here in a minute'. Likeeee, what??? That's not an expendable Robin! gotta take better care of him!

I don't know why they are talking about masks stuff in the pool... it's. It doesn't make much sense. I blame Daniel!! The Hush stuff is terrible, I can't believe even for a second that Alfred would let Hush hang around with Bruce's face and ruining the Wayne fortune. Like, uhm, it doesn't only belong to Dick, in any case! should he have the prerogative to let Hush spend it? bahhhh!

The first story makes me pissy all the time! the only comic where I don't want to kick Dick all the time is Batman and Robin, and even then, I want to kick him every now and then...
