I surprised myself with a Dick bunny! I had written him like, twice before. But he wanted to chat, so.. here we go! Set in some limbo thing during Morrison's Batman run but Vic Sage is alive and.. stuff. Whatever

teehee! This was so fun and cute, and very...sweet. *giggles* couldn't help the pun. Thanks for sharing! (*lol* yes, I said that on purpose too... I'm such a dork...) Totally brought a smile to my face. :D
I loved the detail of Dick's freaky sandwiches, and this:
Bruce looks at Dick work over the top of the notebook screen. His movements are easy and fluid. He’s humming to himself as he works. His black hair is messy but dark and shiny, maybe a bit long. But Dick and long hair is something that Bruce associates with the young man’s buoyant moods and less stressful times, though it hasn’t always been so. Dick turns, feeling his gaze on him, and grins. His eyes are clear, he looks tired but not worn. He just needs some sleep. He isn’t hurt. He isn’t hurting. He seems happy and healthy. Bruce answers his grin with a small smile and goes back to the forum threads.
It's SUCH a joy to read a loving, caring Bruce instead of a jerk!
And all the thoughts he had of Clark, the sweetness! was marvelous.
Cherries and strawberries are sweet, but so are the World's Finest. ;)
Domestic schmoop is always really fun to write :) I make no apologies for it!
I think Bruce always cares, just maybe not in the way people want him to show it. It helps it was his POV, he's really a man that does most of his talking with the details, instead of grand gestures or eloquent discourses.
Clark wanted to show up! I had to keep him at the fringes or this would have gotten too long. But he'll happily eat a healthy breakfast later!
You really have a wonderful way with words! The last line especially:
Passing the time idly chatting -with words and without them- with his oldest charge, the son of his heart, he waits for the dawn to bring him his morning star.
That's wonderful! A quiet, early morning moment between father and son. I really, really liked the last line, it just brought the whole thing together. :D
Wohoo! I'm glad you liked it! I love your icon, btw! Robins! I tend to stay away from Bruce and Dick in the same room because it seems to attract Drama and my Bruce muse things Drama is not worth the energy it consumes!
Kate, I am Le Sad today. I started The Zombie Survival Guide a few days ago and I had to drop it today. I love zombies! what went wrong? I wasn't being entertained at all! why??? D:
I'm sorry you don't like Zombie Survival Guide. I haven't read it myself (too many bad reviews.... plus I'm lazy XD) but it must be a let down after the awesomness of WWZ.
I've been hearing good things about Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, maybe give that a go?
