Haha, I love that I have the perfect icon for this story X) I love you, T-Rex!! Ahem.. yes, well, story time! this is a wandering thing that happened in the course of a month -probably more, knowing me- whenever I felt like writing a bit. So.. it.. wanders. One of those stories that didn't end like I thought it would! they seldom do, silly stories

That was beautiful...the best parts for me was when Bruce was describing the state of the rooms when the BatClan has lived in, as well as Bruce conversations with his family you wrote it in a way as we get a glimpse of their personalties and connections to the Bat himself.

The part that made me cry was when Tim came to comfort and wait alongside Bruce to wait for his own love to return....*Sobs*....oh Kon...Tim...what a pairing~

Aww, thank you! I'm glad this story got to you! I love the interactions in the Batfamily, because they seem to be that there's a lot going on that isn't in the words or even in their acts. Just.. undercurrents that they are used to read.

Kon will return to Tim! I know this in my heart. And though Tim has been hurt a lot, he's a Bat, and Bats don't quit on hope!

Wow, DC owes you big. Here's another facet of the Batman universe that ought to be more explored: the manor itself. And not just the Batcave (however cool the elevators and toys are). But the rooms, the wings, the atmosphere of the home to the family. I adore the image of Bruce walking around checking up on his sons, and to be reminded that he still thinks of Jason and Cass.

Oh and the kitchen as Alfred's domain. Damn right!

Finally, the last paragraph made me sniffle the most. Like father, like son :)

I love the Manor! Like with Gotham, there are so many versions of it that it's pretty much anything you want it to be, and there's always space for anything crazy you can up with :P

I think despite his distant nature, Bruce would never stop thinking about his sons and daughters. I see it more as a writer flaw than a character flaw, because there's no way that the guy who will offer his rogues a chance for redemption time and time again wouldn't give that and more to his allies and family. Steph, Cass, Jason and Jean Paul are always in my Bat-fanon thoughts!

I'm glad/sorry(?), lol, that the end made you sniffle. The story wasn't going to end like that (Clark was supposed to come back a little early!) but Tim came out of the left field. He's very good at that! I'm all tingly because yeah! like father, like son is my favorite thing about Bruce and Tim's relationship :3 Thank you for reading and commenting!

Oh God. I can't finish reading this properly right now. My head is full of fluffy, silly ficlets and you're killing them!
