Brain dead

Slept three hours last night, woke up at 3 am, showered, drove 40 minutes to airport, started reading 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', waited an hour and a half for plane to leave, slept an hour in the plane, landed, drove home, picked up my keys and work card, drove to work and thanks to the time zone difference, still made it to work at 8 am

they were seriously disturbing. I have been looking at the pictures I took and I just.. don't like them, but I am fascinated by them. I don't know how much it transmits as just pictures, but being there was.. *shivers* weirdness :P

Woo, I'm happy you had such a fun time! Sleepy breakdowns suck, but it sounds like Monterrey was awesome and if there was snobbishness, the geekiness seems to have far outweighed it. :D And you got to see Marcela, yay!!

It wasn't snobbish! well, sort of, but it was also really fun. More like 'oh, aren't we so cool' kind of feeling, but I as there to enjoy myself and just relax, and didn't have to be very sociable, so all was well :) I am so glad I went! I miss her a lot, I hadn't noticed until I got to be with her again.. (yes, I am a crap friend!)

Somewhat ironically, the apartment my parents rent includes a walk-in closet in the spare bedroom! My nieces like to pitch a teeny tiny tent there and "camp out" at night. It would be space enough for ferret! :)

Ehhh, I know the feeling, though. I don't think it's bad to enjoy someone's company whole-heartedly when you're with them but not pine after them when you're not!

Sadly, Aquaman was not on the surfboard! but he was riding a seahorse. Though, I have a picture of Bruce surfing on the batsurfboard and that is making me very happy :)
