Jaevel Av En Tango is an AU series set in Earth 3 (or Earth 2, or whatever the Earth it is now) where the Crime Syndicate of America operates. It centers around the moves and intrigues of the mob in Gotham, a group called the Storm, lead by Wotan, a.k.a Vak Báleygr a.k.a. Bruce Wayne, under the sanction of Owlman, Bruce's twin, Tommy Wayne Jr.
The main players in Gotham are Bruce and Tommy, and the name of the game is double crossing. In what could be a three-way war -Owlman vs. the Storm vs. GCPD- they find a very precarious balance, especially when other players move into town.
Clark Starr, reporter in the Metropolis' Planet, is a man with many secrets, not the smallest of them being he's a child from the stars. Raised by his older cousin Karen Starr, he learns the family trade: anonymous superheroing. But Clark isn't sure that him flying around stopping crime would truly change anything in his world -not when everything and everyone is so corrupted and set in their ways, and the last thing he wants is to reveal himself to the Crime Syndicate.
When Clark begins investigating the Storm, he falls in with Bruce, and without meaning to ends up in the middle of a worldwide conspiracy against the CSA that might just get them all killed.
The series is named after Kaizers Orchestra's 'Jaevel Av en Tango', A Devil of a Tango, and the whole story is inspired by their music.
