Based off my little knowledge of how long it takes movies to film and the fact that Reynolds hearts Deadpool, I am really, really hoping it will still be a go.

Also, hi!

I AM HOPING SO, TOO, but the thing is even if Ryan Reynolds could do it without scheduling conflicts there's no guarantee Warner Bros. won't keep trying to tie him down to Green Lantern. And while I am completely on board with that film, too, I really wanted to see Ryan Reynolds actually be Deadpool.

I KNOW.

FIGHT, MR. REYNOLDS, FIGHT. DEADPOOL DOES NOT APPROVE OF ANY OF THIS.

This is troubling, but it can be done.

Iron Man: premiered May 2, 2008
Tropic Thunder: premiered Aug 15, 2008

IF TONY STARK CAN DO IT, DEADPOOL SURE THE FUCK CAN. WHILE MAKING SNARKY COMMENTARY TO BOOT.

And yeah, since this Deadpool is a pet project for Ryan Reynolds I have high hopes. While it's not usually kosher to have such similar heroes...THEY JUST CAST THE HUMAN TORCH AS CAPTAIN AMERICA SO THEY CAN SHUT THEIR FACES.

...I may be awwwfully attached to the Deadpool/Ryan Reynolds thing btw ;_;

*HUGS BACK*

PICTURES WILL COME SOON I PROMISE. I need to steal the CD of wedding photos from the bride and groom and then round up all of the candid shots another friend has been taking since she got here, and then there will be a massive picture post.

I AM HOPING SO. I just hope it doesn't come down to a war between the two studios. I'm sure Ryan Reynolds is still all over this movie, but it will probably come down to whether or not Warner Bros. affords him the time to go and film another movie for a rival studio.

I am awfully attached, too. There's nothing like seeing an actor get super excited over a project, and Ryan Reynolds has been nothing but excited about being Deadpool.
