Fic: Iron Man; Back In Your Head

Jul 01, 2010 07:02

Oh hai look. I got another fic done.

Still not the one I really really wanted to get done, but that one is still giving me hell and I kinda want to punt it across the room.

Also, apparently I like writing in present tense now, considering the last three fics I've done have all been present tense. :/

I love being productive. ;-; I might even be able to get some more original work done this summer, too! I'm super excited about that.

Oh, bb. This is simply amazing. I'm going to read it again once I get home and I have some time to let it all sink in, but I absolutely love your prose. The way you wrote this is so beautiful. The fact it's so in character is just an added bonus.

<3 <3 <3 I love how, in his dream, he can already tell that there's something off with Obadiah. TRUST YOUR INSTINCT, TONY. HE'S NO GOOD. But seriously, I love how you've made him realize he has PTSD (because really, who wouldn't after that kind of ordeal? Not just being stuck in the cave and held captive, but learning exactly how the very things you'd spent your entire life building were being used?), have the nightmares that are so, so frequently in PTSD victims, and then make something good come out of it. Because that's why Tony's so awesome - he won't give up. He knows what's being done with his technology and instead of pretending to be ignorant, he's going to own up to his mistakes and make it all better.

Two tiny grammatical things (can you tell I like to beta? :p):
