AHHHH IT IS SO WORTH IT I PROMISE. I've been twice so far (in less than 24 hours!) and my squee is such that it might be heard from space.

I LOVE this song. I think I played it 3 or 4 times in a row when I first found it. It is beautiful, and completely everything that I love about Alan Menken.

ME TOO OMG. The lyrics there are also the closest (IMO) we've gotten to the more classic Alan Menken composed Disney songs - like all the songs from the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.

(HE IS ALSO THE MOST ADORABLE AND AMAZING "PRINCE" A DISNEY FILM HAS EVER OFFERED THE WORLD. I LOVE HIM. I ADORE HIM. I MELT THINKING ABOUT HIM AND RAPUNZEL.)

Sierra will hopefully love it, too. Pascal is awesome. Maximus is also awesome. ACTUALLY THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE THAT IS NOT AWESOME. I only regret that this film didn't come out when I was a kidlet, because I guarantee you Rapunzel is the kind of Disney Princess I would have wanted to be JUST LIKE when I grew up. (SHE CHARTS THE STARS AND IS AN ARTIST.)

I KNOW, RIGHT? Going into the theater, I was all "this is going to be pretty shiny standard Disney fare, OH WELL I'M HERE FOR THE NOSTALGIA" and then on the way out I couldn't stop gushing about how much I loved Rapunzel and Flynn and how I wished this movie had come out when I was a little kid because I WOULD HAVE BEEN THIS KIND OF DISNEY PRINCESS IN A HEART BEAT.

Also it makes me want to be an animator for them again. That lantern scene completely broke me.

I'm hoping to go again next weekend, as a break from all of the schoolwork I am going to be hauling butt on between now and then.

NO ONE IS AS CUTE AS MR. LEVI. I am fairly certain this is also fact, not opinion. XD
