This little boy looked familiar to her, but she couldn't quite put a finger on it right now. It'd all been so long ago..
She offers him a smile and a little greeting wave though ]

Then, he laughs and waves (quite emphatically) at this now-adult Madoka. She seems very nice and Francis always loves to make new friends.]
Bonjour, bonjour mademoiselle! [But, he can't forget to be more polite, so he pulls up his shirt hem a little so that he can bow properly (almost a curtsy, under that tunic/dress of a shirt.]

She goes down to her knees to talk to him from the same height and smiles some more ]
Hello. Are you having fun?
Reply
Mais oui! I am picking pretty flowers. I am going to make them into a crown! And then I will make crowns for everyone else!

there is a squeaky yell coming right at you! and a small bundle of blond hair tackles France to the ground]
I win!

Ah! Vous dirai-je Maman, ce qui cause mon tourment? [He stoops down to pick another flower or two and shove them in his pocket, still singing.] Papa veut que je raisonne...[And then, he hears the rustle. And then the yelp. Francis turns around sharply, only to be tackled into the grass. He lets out a little 'oof!' as he hits the ground, and looks up at someone who is familiar to him, his dear little England.]
Angleterre! We were playing a game?

You should always be prepared! [aside from a squeaky voice, his speaking is very rough English, almost German] You never know when your enemies will strike!

He hears the woman's voice and looks up at here again, smiling happily at her. She was such a kind woman, so willing to watch over him. Francis didn't quite understand all her words - what about being an adult? And how did she know his name? But her aura was so warm, he could not resist being friendly to her.]
Look at how many I have, mademoiselle! [And he fished all of them out of his large pocket, dropping his compact in the grass again, and shoving the large handful (for his hands, anyway) of flowers towards her.]

[And he's picking another flower to gently place behind your ear, hope you don't mind.]

Well, little kids shouldn't really be out on their own like this.]
Bonjour, petite ami. Pourquoi êtes-vous par vous-même ?

You can talk! Are you an enchanted mirror?
I wanted to play outside. There were terrifying things inside, so I ran away.

All the while, he smiles and hopes it's a little bit comforting. Or something.]
Not quite~. The mirror certainly is special though, isn't it? I'm communicating with through it~!
But, you said there were scary things, hm~? Are you alright?
Reply
Are you a wizard, sir?
[But then he gets all excitable again as he tells his story.]
Yes, yes! They are big monsters, bigger than me, with gleaming armor like knights! And they must live with a rich giant. I think the giant eats noblemen and then steals their lands.

I'm going to make a crown out of flowers. Il sera très joli. [He meant, "it will be very pretty", but he hasn't realized he's switched from English to French.]
Et vous? Que faites-vous? [He meant "What are you doing", but she might be able to figure it out from context.]
Reply
Why're you doing that?
Reply
That and it gives me something to do while I try to figure out where I am.
