So elated, in fact, that he decides to disregard the thought of door entirely.
He wastes no time vaulting himself out the window and dashing up to Giotto, flinging his arm around the smaller man's shoulders and ruffling his hair with his free hand, laughing all the while. For a moment, just a moment, all pretenses of hierarchy in the Vongola is lost, and he's just greeting his old childhood friend who he hasn't been able to see like this in a very, very long time.]
