[ Who needs to reply to the feed with the compact when you already recognize the location. And so Ange doesn't - instead she stomps over to the tavern, the things she heard from Selphie popping up clearly in the front of her mind again. ]

That guy, seriously-...

[ Yes, she's just grumbling to herself along the way. But when she enters the tavern, she just walks over to Amakusa's table, as if nothing is going on.. And then goes for a punch in the jaw. Without even saying a word in advance.

[ At that she lets out a sigh, still glaring slightly.. she eyes the other chair for a few moments, but doesn't sit down just yet. ]

Sorry that we can't all have time to sit down and drink ourselves to death while there are more important matters going on.

[He looked up at her and smiled.] As I was saying earlier- sit with me Ange-san. I'm not drinking myself to death, I'm just having one drink.

[ There's a moment where it looks like she might just turn around and stomp out of the place again already.

But instead she sits down, her expression a bit frowny like a kid that didn't get what they wanted. ]

I still don't see why you should waste your time drinking.

[He grins at her expression- knowing that she's pissed at him still.]

Don't worry lady, I'll order juice or something for you~!

[He takes another sip of his drink, which DIDN'T TOPPLE OVER at getting hit, thankfully. Then he looks at her again- somewhat serious.]

...What are your thoughts on that voice we all heard?

[ Yeah, he better not order alcohol for her or get her drunk or anything.. Although she does seem to get a bit more serious than just glaring at him at that. ]

That voice.. It said something like 'the Tower brings about sudden change and upheaval', right? And then they told us to not fight the changes or we would be punished.. [ She pauses for a slight moment. ] Do you think these 'changes' could have to do with those fairytale people they want us to become?

[Oh he had an idea that was the case, he just decided to ask what her thoughts were.]

So, are you trying to tell me that we're gonna end up changing into our roles? As forced as it may be? That sounds kinda twisted if you ask me.

Heh, you just asked me if I'd like to become a god...? Anyone would like to gain enough power like that, wouldn't they? I mean, I'm not saying that I would look forward to being a god of mischief but...a god is a god nonetheless.

[ Well, she could understand that sort of reasoning, but all the same.. Her voice turns more serious for real now. ]

Then.. Even in the case that you would completely forget who you actually are and lose yourself in exchange for that power, would you still not mind, Amakusa?

[Okay- he looks at her a bit more serious-]

No, I wouldn't like anything like that. For example though, let's say I can gain those godlike powers without forgetting who I am, then of course I wanna make a deal like that.

But- if you're right, and in the end it means I'll lose myself and become exactly like Loki, then I say to hell with that.

... That's good. It seems you at least still have some common sense.

My prospects as Gretel aren't very great in general, but even if I'd be offered something great, I'd rather just remain me if I had a choice in the matter.

I'm just saying, that I'd be at a loss if you were to lose yourself because of this whole role ordeal. I like who you are currently, and I don't want you to change.

[He then takes another sip, and decides to add-] You're too much fun to be around~.

But I have no intention of losing myself as long as I can help it. Besides, you're my bodyguard, you're supposed to help me out when something like that happens, right?
