So - when one is feeling very much not well and that leads one to ponder if they are sick enough for a hospital stay and the first thing they think is "Wow. That would be a like a vacation!", do you suppose that means one has WAY too much on their plate? ;) I am 1 week away from the end of this semester, for which I am grateful. I still have to ( Read more... )

You def have too much on your plate, and are you ok? Still sick? Hospital???

I think you're nuts for taking 6 classes. But I also know you can do it, since you're apparently super woman *L*

Yay gluten free? I'm def investing in some gluten-free flours so we can have a gluten-free pizza night! Woooo!

Feel better!!!!!!!!

LOL - I am ok. It was more a progression of - if this doesn't get better and I end up in the hospital - not - ugh, I need to be in a hospital. :) I have a massive hedache, but I can't determine if it's from paint fumes or my completely blocked sinuses, which are draining quite slowly, giving me an annoying cough. *sigh* Someday - I will actually sleep in. ;)

Yeay for gluten free pizza - apparently UNO's has a GF crust. Hmmmmm - maybe we should check it out some time! ;)

Sinus problems can also be a reaction to grain-based foods. So all this may pass when the pizza leaves your system.

Three months gluten-free? Brava! It really is it's own reward, isn't it!

Welll - I wouldn't say I have been perfect for 3 months. But I can honestly say that I have not had bread or rolls or biscuits or pancakes or waffles or bagels or - well - I guess it;s easier to say - I had pizza twice, a piece of pumpkin pie on THanksgiving, scrapple once, and baklavah once. Because - really? If you can't eat home made freaking baklavah, what IS the point? ;) I didn't know that about sinuses. Huh. Thanks for cluing me in! :)

I'm not perfect either. But "avoiding" is better than eating it all the time.

Yes - hear hear, rah rah and all that! ;) I am currently experimenting with oats because there is some question as to if they have gluten or not. So I decided to just see if I was sensitive to them. Apparently, I can eat whole oats. Woot! I am not going to start eating them every day, but I really missed my granola! ;)

MIL can sometimes get away with the occasional gluten item (a cookie, dinner roll, etc) but as soon as standard pizza passes her lips, yep, it's a bad night. Must be quite a lot of gluten happening in pizza I would think.

I'm thinking you are right. Probably because the dough is worked so much - that would make sense, right?
I love your snowy tree, BTW. :)
