A few days later, after the picnic...

Ladyfox sits up and looks across the greensward...
(After dislodging a dog or three, she looks across the green towards the pond, where the little elephants are playing again. She gives a sharp whistle, which instatnly gets the attention of the dogs around her, but the elephants playing with a small VW buggling. She waves them over, her face reflecting a serious thought... Once the dogs all settle,...
-Finish their frantic hello's, find themselves places to lie down near -or on- Ladyfox, and the loose fur drifts away on the breeze, she turns to the Goblin Queen once more. "I would get up to hug you, but I still seem to have a lap full of dog here. Will you settle for a wave?" she grins weakly and waves from her squashed-into-the-dirt chair ( Read more... ) -
There is a commotion...
in the direction of The Village as the Goblin Queen comes toward the Royal Picnic Pavilion. She is being followed by a contingent of cats and dogs.

Picnic Antics.
The main Village green is alive with sport and play. Every denizen of the Great Forest is here for the picnic. On the main field, which is cordoned off with gaily flagged ropes, Armored combatants bash at each other with rattan weapons. (Ladyfox arrives and hops out of the car to look around and see where everyone else is setting up. She's rather fond of the hill with the seven trees around its crown- because that provides such NICE shade- along with a view. But she isn't seeing anyone else and wonders... Picnic on the Green
I, The Goblin Queen of Arcadia Village, do hereby request that all goblins and residents prepare a picnic to be held on the Village Green this weekend.
