SO GOOD BOO! SO GOOD. Tam is wonderful and I really want her and Tim to spend more time together in canon because she would be so good for him.

I like how human she is and how fun and how perceptive.

Also the tim/tam tag made me laugh because of these

Babe, be jealous, I already have some in the house.

I have plain chocolate ones and white chocolate ones. They can only be eaten as a Tim Tam Suck in whic you bite off the opposite corners and use it as a straw to drink milk. The inside of the Tim Tam gets all mooshy but the chocolate coating holds it together and then you eat it and it's amazing.

I think the ones at Target were for a limited time, but I might send you some if I love you enough ^_^

Now I really have to read the last issue of Red Robin. Tam seems great! And does she really call him Tim Drake-Wayne-Draper? That's just too funny.

I love Tam's observations and how you weave a deeper sense of character based on everything we know about her and know that she knows. She feels sympathetic, but not obsessive, and definitely appreciative of the rare moments of relaxed!Tim.

I also love how Tim explains the nuances of the knuckle-bump so succinctly.

Even if the scars hadn't convinced her, his expertise in dismantling criminal organizations would have.

I like the fic. You should know I wouldn't have read it if it weren't you, because Tim/Tam makes me all frownyface. I knew the moment I saw her that She was there for Tim to hook up with and I hated that.

I love Tim het, as you know. Well, the good stuff. Steph or Beryl and a couple of others. Shiva. Mmm Shiva. Tam leaves me cold. But your writing is gorgeous and descriptive and beautifully paced, so I read it and enjoyed it anyway. :P

What's so bad about giving Tim a new supporting character? Currently, he has almost none that he's still on speaking terms with. They didn't just shoehorn her in there with little to no personality like Zoanne, or Ives, or Craig, or any number of his supporting cast not written by Dixon.

Tam was woven pretty artfully into the narrative, given a purpose, characterization and a place in the plot. She's got an interesting back story, a connection to Tim and the potential to play a big role in his life as a whole, not just this certain story arc or stage.

Just because she isn't a cape doesn't mean she doesn't have value other than being Tim's newest potential girl friend. In fact, I'm fairly confident she's going to play a pretty big role in things to come.

She's a new character. We know about as much about her as we do about Beryl. Actually, we know more.

Don't hate her right away. She could be fun. :( Look at Bernard Dowd!

Heeee! This was cute! I have to admit, I've been kind of varying between hatred and mild dislike of Red Robin. (why do I keep reading? I assume it's the same reason it took me forever to drop Teen Titans. I love Tim! I can't stop!) BUT THE POINT IS. I like Tam a lot and I'm hoping with better art I'll like the book more, and I like your fic, and I dare you to say Tim/Tam really fast and over and over again and keep a straight face.

I mostly think I'm soured by how horribly horribly BLEH Dick was. OOCly bleh, even. I like Tam, and I even mostly enjoyed last issue, but I can't get over the Dick thing. And I'm not a fan of the artist. The new one looks A LOT better, though. Oh, and I wish Tim would stop talking about crossing lines. He's made it more than clear that's what he intends to do. Now do it or don't. (And if you're gonna be crossing lines, you don't have to freak out when someone almost swears.) CENSORSHIP IS A PET PEEVE.

It looks like she'll be important in at least the upcoming issues. Shockingly, I like her. I like supporting casts.
