On the road again

Or at least I will be soon. Last night was my last night in Melbourne for a bit, since I head back to Sydney tonight for the Moot. I'm a lot of excited. So much. I'm currently waiting for my laundry to finish so that I can pack. I swear, every time I pull everything out of my pack, there is more stuff to put back into it. It's not good. ( Read more... )

I never had problems with my pack in Britain in the way of trains, is Aussieland different?

Just in terms of how much it weighs if I want to check it. Which I did the other day. The bus company did not have a scale, thus...

I had the same thing with busses and trains in England. posted acceptable limits that I always worried about, but it was never checked.
Except for the flight home, so I had to pay a bit extra for more luggage weight. I could have avoided that by wearing a few layers of clothes to the airport, gotten through the luggage check, then taking off the layers and putting them in my carry-on. it wasn't a big deal anyways.

I have an extra bag for the flight home. All the stuff I brought will fit in my pack, and the extras will go in the extra bag, and all will be well, weight-wise. Is the theory...
