As I'm sure you've noticed, due to the TOS changeups here at LiveJournal, some users are choosing to backup and/or move to DreamWidth. If you are wondering why this is, one article I can refer you to is LJ Russian Federation TOS. It explains a bit about why content creators are concerned about being subject to Russian laws

Hi! Me and a friend actually make a comm on DW called arashics https://arashics.dreamwidth.org/, a place for DW blog owners to post and advertise their fics. Perhaps you can link to that comm instead of creating a new one :P

I am not a writer but I think this comm is as iconic as arashi_on fic wise, so if fandom decides to move, think would be nice encounter familiar places on the new site :)

I am grateful that you decide to keep arashirabu open on LJ. I am one of those people who aren't so worried about the new TOS, mostly because I am hopeful that it wouldn't affect non-russian blogs/bloggers in practice, as you said. It's comforting to know that this comm will remain here 💕

I think it's best for writers to keep backup of their fics elsewhere just to be safe. AO3 is great for keeping backup. LJ is nice for all interactions and I like LJ for that. I really don't want to leave but I would be forced to if the fandom leaves LJ 💔 I am hoping I don't have to do that.

I am also sticking with LJ (and backing up my stuff to DW and AO3 (eventually - AO3 seems to take me a long time).
I have heard of no enforcement of the TOS either and guess that they would be mostly interested in Russian pages anyway.
So I will be continuing to post to Arashirabu as usual.

I'm not really worries about fanfics in LJ. So for me it is really good to hear that this comm will still open for us since as you said it is so many members here. ^ - ^
(Even so I have to make DW account to keep in touch for subbing community.) 😧
