Aww wow! I haven't read the lyrics at all (nor heard the song/watched the PV in its entirety), but it's all very deep and poetic, ne? =OO And so sad and heartfelt. T.T I love ballads <3~

But personally, I don't like that kind of love...the kind where one person seems to shoulder all the pain and hard stuff, trying their best to shelter the other from the evils of the world, or rather, more specifically, the evils of their relationship, so to speak. Treating the other like a fragile treasure that could break at any time, and giving themselves up wholly and unconditionally to the other, a slave, bowing to the whims of their princess.I'm not sure how others view it, but to me it seems suffocating and almost insincere.

I prefer the HYDF outlook, sharing your life together; painful things are halved, and happy experiences are doubled. ^^ But that's just my opinion, hehe. XD

Ahhaha I can see where you're coming from. But coming from the culture of Japan, sacrificing yourself is not that out of the ordinary. I myself wouldn't want to be in that kind of relationship, but being protected is nice, though not to the extent that the song is suggesting, romantic as it is. I guess the offering of yourself is enough for me because the gesture alone is beautiful ^-^

HYD will always be the perfect love for me too~ The whole drama and movie balanced out, with Domyouji finding his feelings for Makino in S1 and Makino realizing the depth of her feelings for him in S2 and them finding each other again in the movie~ Hyaa~ I'm SO gonna watch it again after my exams! XD
On the other hand, with Arashi's songs, I'm discovering so many different kinds and I have to say that each and everyone of them is beautiful ♥
