[Part Two]
Upon re-entering, he grabbed a beer glass and filled it with vodka and was about to make his way back to the dance floor when he noticed who else was by the drinks. He took a gulp of his drink before approaching Yamapi.
“hey, man” he slapped Yamapi round the back who jumped at the contact having clearly been in a world of his own.
“oh, hey.”
“enjoying the party?”
“yeah, I guess”
“hey, look, you can’t let this girl get you down. Seriously. She’ a bitch and a whore and a slut and a slag and you definitely deserve better than her.”
“I know but, what if - ”
“No!” he cut off, “no ‘what if’s’ you deserve better, I know it, you know it, everyone else knows it and you will find someone that is 10 times better than her and you will be happy with them!”
“Yes sir!” Yamapi mimicked a salute with a smirk before downing the rest of his beer and Ryo also downed the rest of his glass before shaking his head to clear it. “woHOOOO” he called before grabbing Yamapi’s hand and pulling him to the dance floor, “right! We’re are going to forget that girl, and focus on someone better, like, oh I don’t know… me!” he winked as he put Yamapi’s hands around his neck and put his own hands on Yamapi’s waist pulling them close together and grinding them against each other.
“wooo, I LOVE this song!” Ryo shouted over the loud music as the track changed and they began to move faster the match the rhythm. Ryo separated himself and proceeded to lose himself in the song, throwing his head about and shimmying his hips whilst Yamapi just laughed at his energy and dance moves.
“ha ha. How much have you had to drink Ryo?” he laughed.
“not much, three beers and three shots?”
“ha, well I can’t imagine what you would be like if you were really drunk.”
Ryo calmed down a bit and rested his arms on Yamapi’s shoulders and they moved to the music together, “I don’t need to get drunk to be completely bonkers!”
“yeah, I can see that.”
Ryo winked and stuck his tongue out as the track changed again and Yamapi seemed to freeze because all of a sudden, he was looking at nothing with a dazed look on his face and glazed over eyes.
“hey, Yamapi?” Ryo was ignored and he figured the song had something to do with the girl that had broken his heart. Ryo felt his chest tighten at the idea of someone doing that to Yamapi. How could they do that to such a decent guy?
Without much more thought, Ryo leant in and kissed him on the mouth. Yamapi was startled and pulled back looking at Ryo with a confused look on his face. Ryo put his hands on both sides of Yamapi’s face and tried pulling him towards him. But Yamapi tried to resist and was pulling his head back the other way, but Ryo won out and their lips were together again when Ryo mumbled against them, “just let me make you forget for a while.”
Yamapi stilled, and after a moment, it was then him that connected them together again. The kiss was hungry and needy with teeth clashing and tongues twirling and before either o them knew what was happening, Ryo was holding on tightly with his arms around Yamapi’s neck and legs wrapped around his waist while Yampi had his arms around his waist and slammed Ryo’s back against a wall.
Ryo’s hands extended to Yamapi’s hair, gripping it tight and pulling at it causing Yamapi to moan into the kiss and it was only when they both felt near to passing out that they separated and just stared at each other panting heavily. Ryo looked at him anxiously before a smile broke out on Yamapi’s face and Ryo smiled back.
“did you forget” he asked.
“forget what?” they smiled at each other before sharing chaste kisses.
Ryo stroked Yamapi’s cheek as they looked at each other before suggesting they get drinks. When at the table where all the drinks were, Yamapi started talking to some other friends whilst something else caught Ryo’s eye.
