Warning: boyxboy, but only a bit of kissing and som swearing.

Note: Okay, so this may seem really rushed because it kind of is… lol especially the end. I have just got back from celebrating the Iranian new year… happy new year by the way!!... and I am absolutely freezing down here in the living room but I wanted to get this finished!! I may g back over it and check it and tweak the ending a bit because I didn’t know if I should carry on the scene or just stop but… yeah… hope you enjoyed. :D
Nishikido Ryo is never turned down. Ever.
He had a list of girls and guys that would be more than happy for him to use them and then throw them away. And yet… This one guy… This one guy that he might actually want to keep. He doesn’t seem to have any effect on him at all.
The topic of Ryo’s list of people came up when he said who was on the list and then he adds, “oh yeah, and you are on there as well.”
The reaction? Laughter. Kato Shigeaki laughed at him. At the idea of being on the list of people that fancy him.
And again, at a party. Again he was rejected! Ryo’d had a few drinks and so had Shige. Shige mentioned how he hasn’t kissed anyone at the party where as most other people have kissed at least one person that night.
Tegoshi was the one that called Ryo over, “Shige-Chan hasn’t kissed anyone tonight. How about you do it?”
He played it cool and shrugged saying he didn’t mind. But on the inside, he was anything but cool.
“What?! No way. I’m not kissing him.” he turned to look at Ryo, “I’m not going to kiss you, don’t worry.”
“I really don’t mind.” He tried to press, maybe he was shy?
“That’s not the point. It’s okay, you can go.”…okay, maybe he wasn’t shy.
“Go on Ryo-tan, kiss him! He doesn’t know what he’s saying!” Tegoshi encouraged.
“meh, okay then” I started to lean in but he pulled his head even further back than it already was and placed a hand on my chest pushing me away.
“Seriously, I’m okay” Shige laughed it off whilst Ryo shrugged and the conversation carried on where as on the inside, he felt his chest tightening up.
The next day at school however…
“Why wouldn’t you kiss me?” it was the first thing he said when he saw Shige who had just walked into the common room with his lunch.
“You actually remember that?” Shige asked nervously, moving towards a table.
“Of course I remember, you made it amazingly clear that you didn’t want to kiss me.” he said as he sat down next to Shige, straddling the bench so he could look straight at him.
“Well, I’m not big on the whole kissing-someone-who-isn’t-going-to-remember-the-next-day type thing.” He replied setting down his food and opening up his sandwich.
“Well obviously I would have remembered and I will definitely remember tomorrow if we kissed now.”
Shige faltered just before taking a bite of his sandwich and instead said “we’re not even at the party anymore so there is no point.” Shige tried laughing it off, come one, Ryo was being ridiculous, and it wouldn’t even be a heat-of-the-moment type thing.
“You’re joking right?” now Ryo was the one that seemed to think that Shige was being ridiculous.
“No…?” Shige finally took a bite of his sandwich.
“Why the fuck are you the only person that doesn’t want to kiss me?” Ryo stared intently as Shige continued to chew and swallow his bite before replying.
“Probably because everyone else wants you. I mean, what’s the point, you’ll just add the name to your list and boast about it growing, just like your ego.” He took another bite.
“So you don’t fancy me, purely because of the fact that everyone else does? Even though everyone thinks that I’m hot? And cute? And sexy? … Really? None of that appeals to you?”
Shige shook his head.
“Who the fuck do you fancy then?”
“no one.” He said when his mouth was empty again, “There’s no one worth fancying”
“bullshit” he leant in and kissed him on the lips before Shige could get another bite in and pressed his hand against the back of Shige’s head putting his all into that kiss, more than he has any other. He tried slipping his tongue in but failed when Shige bit down, causing him to withdraw and yelp.
“What the fuck?”
“That’s what I should say!” Shige protested, “What, you just think that you can go and make out with anyone that you want? Not everyone is on your list! And there should be less people on there anyway. You’re a jerk.” Shige grabbed his food and threw it away having lost his appetite as he walked away only to have Ryo follow him.
“Wait, Shige. I’m not normally like this. Really! I swear! It’s just, I really like you and I guess I don’t know how to show it because I’m used to everyone just coming after me.”
“And what? I’m the first person that you have been interested in? Or only the first that hasn’t been interested back?”
“No it’s not that, it’s just, even if I was interested in someone that wasn’t already running after me; they didn’t exactly run away from me. It was just easier I guess.”
“Heh… you’re kind of cute being all pathetic like that.”
“What?”
“Just seeing you knocked down a few pegs is kind of… satisfying.”
Ryo looked at him in confusion and Shige sighed.
“Look, Ryo. It’s not that I don’t like you. Regrettably I do. Just. Like. Everyone. Else. That’s the problem for me. If by some strange phenomena you actually do like me, then I will be the bitch that got the guy that everyone wants. And if you ditch me for some slutty guy or girl that also happens to be on your list, then I won’t be able to not hate you for it. And I really don’t want to hate you… I like you too much.” Shige turned around, ready to walk away while Ryo stood there in stunned silence
“That list means nothing!” he called after him, causing Shige to stop in his stride. “The only list that matters is the one with your name on it and your name only. The list of people that I want to be with” Ryo walked up from behind him and stood in front of him, “there’s only room for one name and you’ve filled it. Please, give me a chance?” Ryo looked at him with hopeful eyes and an adorable smile, how could he refuse him?
So with a sigh, Shige nodded and Ryo’s eyes were practically overflowing with happiness.
“Thank you thank you thank you!” he placed his hands around Shige’s face and pulled him into a quick kiss before releasing him and hugging him around his arms and body so tight that Shige could barely move.
So it’s just like I said; Nishikido Ryo is never turned down. He always gets his way in the end.
