This past week has been mostly uninteresting--lots of working (always busy), napping, and lazy days off. I did finish reading Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, which was quite good, but ended a little oddly for me.  It wasn't necessarily my favorite of his works, but it was a very interesting love story with some great characters.  I liked Midori ( Read more... )

So on Monday, Jessica and I went to have breakfast together around 10 at Rick's Iron Skillet. I had country ham with eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuit and gravy. It was quite good! An awkward moment! Dr. Candido and his wife came in to Sears today to buy luggage for an upcoming trip to Rome apparently. Yes, I'm jealous. But anyhow, I was working the register in the area, so they asked me for help. I couldn't really help them considering I know very little about luggage, so I called someone else to help them. Recently, Buddy and I have been wanting to lose weight. We keep starting diets and getting lazy (or, you know, I get sick, and the diet goes to pieces), and we've just restarted our diet this past week.
